i hear you. i went with preordering from ebgames based on the good feedback from the board but now i'm wondering if my other Studio 86 stuff will be super delayed too.

what sucks is they charged me and its sitting in shipping limbo so i cant even cancel and order elsewhere

EB Games doesn't charge til they ship. They may do a test charge when you first order but it gets removed.

You can cancel anytime.

They charged a deposit on items , 5 dollars each isn’t it? How do I cancel and get refund?

Oh sorry ya deposit items I'm not sure if you can. I only put the deposit down if I'm sure I want to buy from them since it's a commitment. I've never had personally had an issue getting an item from EB so I don't mind. I'd just contact their CS about cancelling or try in store to have the deposit applied to something else maybe.

Or if you can't wait, buy somewhere else. Then when you pay for and get your EB order you can return it. ��

No way to refund a deposit. Best way to avoid it, is to preorder in-store or to order online for in-store pickup. Preordering online for 'Home Delivery' always charges a deposit.

My experience has been the opposite where they make you do a deposit for in store pickup but not for home delivery orders.


If you put in an order for in store pickup with a deposit you need to go into the store to cancel it.

Hey guys, for those that are in Toronto I spotted Bug Bite, Greasepit, and Hothouse at the EB games opposite of the eaton centre(267 Yonge St). You get 10% off if you have their platinum card. Also, the silver snail up the street from there has hubcap, zetar, and the black shockwave although their prices are more.
