Diaclone Catalogue Memories.

It's weird how some things from way back in the past just jump into your head sometimes. I was surfing the net, and a memory of childhood popped into my head. It was of my friend loosing a Diaclone catalogue that came with one of my figures.

A quick google search brought me to this site. It has scans of a bunch of the old Diaclone catalogues from the early '80s.

Man those pictures flood me with nostalgia. Made me feel like a kid again.

Re: Diaclone Catalogue Memories.

If you like Diaclone (and Microman) you should get this book: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Diaclone-Takara-SF-Land-book-Microchange-G1-Micronauts-Microman-/300976986779?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item4613a05 a9b

(I'm glad I got it back then @ retail instead of the inflated ePay price )

Re: Diaclone Catalogue Memories.

I wish those pictures were higher res. There's a bunch of Diaclone stuff I've never even seen before. Namely the "Change Attackers", the early prototype Optimus Prime(with big pointy ears and shoulder cannon), early Jumpstarters, and early Insecticons(not the ones in the more familiar eHobby colors).

That helicopter/jet triple changer was always my favourite. I wish Hasbro would have used him in the Transformers.

Also, does that orangish-yellow Change Attacker vaguely remind anyone else of Generations Sandstorm? I think it's because it has what looks like bumper guard bars on the front.

Man now I really wish I had picked up Fortress Robot X when I had the chance back in 97. It was an insane price then but I can't imagine what it is now!
