Well, I think for one of them, it was a role reversal group.

The guys dressed up as the female characters, and the girl dressed up as a male character.

But for the most part it's true. But if they were going after the alternate gender look, at least "dude" up the costume.

I had no problem with the various female "Robins".

Aren't TF costumes more difficult to make?

I wouldn't have minded a G1 Circuit Breaker.

Great gallery but I have to say, As someone who is currently building a full Iron Man armor set I am really tired of seeing the super half assed Iron Man's with the LED touch lights stuck on to gloves etc....

That depends, overall I wouldn't say they are. A lot of the more serious cosplayers spend hundreds of hours on their costumes, altering, sewing, dying, painting, so on.

If they put the same level of tlc into a Transformers costume I'm sure they would get results, alas many just aren't Transformers fans.

A circuit breaker woul be very cool.

Re: SDCC COSPLAY GALLERY - THIS IS AWESOME!

....For the comments on here above, wtf. People can wear whatever they wish. If they are comfortable and wish to represent the love for their favorite characters, no one here has the right to judge or criticize them for doing so. Cosplayers don't do it for YOUR benefit, nor should they dress in a way to make YOU comfortable. Deal with it. No one is telling you to look.

-PSA from a cosplayer for 13 years.

As for SDCC, I didn't even look at the cosplay pics. I was too interested in the Monster High display/panel since alot of the TF stuff we already saw weeks earlier. I wanted to go, I need me a Webarella! The scaplers got ahold of them and are triple pricing them on Ebay :| She was 27 bucks with tax at the con! >_<
