if you open his leg, you'll see that the flat metal "spring" has folded over on itself, it's pretty common

I picked him up awhile back in the U.S. thought the same thing till I got him out of the box for the size I thought it was quite nice,... really needs the paint details to make it a good piece as the paint is bland,.. the swords could have been done better,... a spring out action here would have been nice and some chrome like the Japanese version still all in all a nice piece to add to the collection...for the size.

The way to tell about the box is first the KO box is vary glossy and the yellow orange by primes feet on a ko box is a small patch as opposed to the bigger drawn out patch on the original box as for the toy the easy way to tell is the front axle the hub on the ko's is flush in the wheel centre where the original protrude and on the reissue theu stick way out.the trailer and cab parts will not interchange with original's properly/not at all.

Got super lucky and found a WFC Soundwave @ the Walmart around the corner for $9.92. Unfortunately he was the only one though there is 1 Red Alert if anyone needs him.

thats great dude, my protector armour and 2 side arms were just delivered aboot 5 minutes ago.
good thing my wife didn't see them, I am going to end up spending $500 before the end of the month...gotta love those profit sharing bonus checks that don't get direct deposit so I can spend a little extra on my plastic crack, lol.
