I find that there's always a bit of Murphy's Law at work lol. If I buy it thinking I'll have a hard time finding it later, it shows up at Winners at a discount. If I hold off thinking I can get it cheap later, it never shows up and I end up paying a premium later to get it

Lol, indeed. I guess the compromise is wait for a sale but you never know if stuff is going to sell out before then either.

I printed out the barcode for dead end from wave 2 and scanned it at a price checker at tru and it has the same SKU as wave one guys. Good news for those with rain checks.

Well, dangit. I'd feel like a fool skipping out on these. I'm all in for Combiner Wars. My shelf space is really going to suffer.

Looks like I need to hunt down Dragstrip...

On an unrelated note, I have a lead on Energon Ultra Magnus (Armada Overload repaint) for $125 complete in box, possibly sealed. Is that a good deal? I'd prefer loose for cheaper but these seem pretty hard to come by. Maybe Toy Traders has him?

ARgh of course now that the wave has ended I am looking for a Gen Armada Starscream or Jhiaxus. In store, loose whatever.

I don't think I've seen the Energon UM for under $100 unfortunately. I think $125 is what Core Games in Lansdowne has him for. I kinda wish I hadn't sold mine off.

I've decided to go with the Takara CW Menasor set so I have a loose Dragstrip if you want.

I have a loose Gen Armada Starscream I don't mind letting go of. It's a spare anyways (impulse buy when Walmart clearanced it online). Just looking pretty on my desk at work lol.

^lol. I can't get the image of those shots where he's giving cigarettes to all the other MPs out of my head. That totally turned him from a 'meh' release to a pretty hilarious character to me.

Yeah, that's probably the case, and the easiest way to get a hold of him. I did notice some completed listings on eBay went for less but with the exchange rate and shipping fees it would probably even out. I hate to pay that much for an Ultra figure, but he is rare. And I guess he's bigger than Leader class figures nowadays.

I guess I need to go to Toy Traders and see what they have before I make a decision.

I just noticed that TRU.ca raised their free shipping threshold to $49 follow suit with Walmart.ca...

I had those two for sale for $12 sealed for a while on my salesthread, but no one was interested, so I ended up returning them to Lansdowne Toysrus, you can try there if you got a chance to go next time, but I suspect they would be sold during the sale last week.
