TF comics on sale at Comixology

So Comixology has these bundles on sale for what seems like good prices.

https://www.comixology.com/Transform...ics/bundle/750

https://www.comixology.com/Transform...One/bundle/751

I haven't read a TF comic in decades and I'm interested in these two bunbles above. But I need some info..

1- Is the first bundle the old Marvel comics run in its entirety?

2- Is the second bundle -Regeneration One- the "sequel" to the first bundle?

3- Are these bundles actually worth it? I keep reading about people enjoying the the newer TF comics and I'd kind of like to get into that. Would these above bundles work for me?

Thanks for the info!

Re: TF comics on sale at Comixology

IDW's TF: More Than Meets The Eye has been hugely enjoyable. The Robots in Disguise ongoing is good too.

I collected Marvel's TF series, so when IDW launched ReGeneration One I tried to like it, I really did. Couldn't stick with it though, especially when MTMTE and RID were consistently better in both art and writing.

1. Basically, yes. Minus the odd issue here or there that featured Spider-Man or other Marvel-owned characters.
2. Yes, I think. Don't know if TF Classics has everything up to Regeneration One, but you can bet you should probably read those before you read Regen.
3. Eh. Depends if you've read the old comics and if your REALLY like them. Personally, I know I've tried. I think I even own 4 or 5 volumes, but I couldn't even make it half way through volume 1. The art and stories are really dated. I think you pretty much had to have grown up with the stuff to really appreciate it.

Digital. Paper copies at that price would be insanely cheap

I'll ask one more question about the whole thing..If I decided to start with MTMTE and RID and skipped everything that is on sale, would I be lost?
