Re: Transformers Animated Episode 17 Official Discussion

Really good episode. I liked how they introduced the Elite Guard... especially them being afraid of the organic slime.

It was cute trying to explain Ultra Magnus to my little girl.

Her: "Why is that guy bossing the Autobots? He's not Optimus."
Me: "Ummm... Yeah, you are right."

Did I mention Jazz was in this epidode?
Wait... Jazz was in the episode?? Why didn't you say so sooner?!?

My fave episode so far, although I don't care much (at least for now) for Ultra Magnus' and Sentinel Prime's alternate modes.

Yeah, Ultra Magnus' is alright, but still a little weak considering he is high commander of the Autobots. And I could see Sentinal as a Monster truck, but not as Mr Plow.

I liked the EP. The guard was great, as was...wait for it...JAZZ.

Lived up to the G counterpart and then some.

I have a few issue though:

1. I am getting, for the lack of a better term: Dinobot 'blueballs'. Twice now they have gone to see the Dinobots, and twice they left with out them. I thought for sure Magnus would have the power to sway them...I know they are waiting for a big battle, but it is getting a little weak.

2. I am a little surprised about the Character choice for the Autobots. Yes I like Jazz, but he was in the movie, as was BB and Ratchet. I even heard that Ironhide may show up. This is fine, but whey not have Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Wheeljack, Hound or a whole host of other characters that have not already been featured in a series for some time. Transfomers has a great line up of characters, they should try to mix it up.

3. I also don't like the 'sari maybe a robot' thing. BTW the ep that is was her birthday, how old was she turning?

If she's a robot, why can she eat, cry and all that crap?

Re: Transformers Animated Episode 17 Official Discussion

Great episode, I only wish they would rip Jazz in half...

...I kid I like Jazz too. I'm not to wild about his Alt mode though, I wish it were more curvy like G1 Porche design.

I like the wings on the Elite Guard Autobot logo, reminiscent of military stripes.

So what's the deal with Sari, is she human or a super advanced robotic organism? I dunno, I'll throw out a wild guess... maybe Sumdac (or Sarlac as I like to call him) built a timemachine, went back in time to rescue his Mother from a troubled child-hood and is now raising her as his daughter in the present? Now wouldn't that be wacked!

Or maybe She is just his illegitimate child with his maid and the truth will be revealed in a confrontation on Jerry Springer show
