Convention question
Alright, so I live in the US, Indiana to be specific. Really what I need to know is, would it be worth it for me to make the drive to attend the convention? I dont really feel like going to Rhode Island I believe it is for Botcon so I'm kinda leaning going to TFCon.

Re: Convention question
There are other people who travel long distances to attend the show who think it's worth it. If you come, it's up to you to make the most of it. You could also factor in whether or not you want to explore the city itself.

Re: Convention question
It's going to be up to you to decide if it's "worth it", but TFcon is a great show, and you said yourself you already wanted to check out Toronto. Can you be more specific about what aspects of the show would make it worth it for you?

Re: Convention question
Honestly, it'd probably come down to the size of the dealer room. Has anyone been to Botcon to tell me if its comparable

Re: Convention question
Using Botcon 2008 as a basis, I would say that the TFcon dealer room of a comparable size. And significantly better if you want stuff from other lines, like Star Wars and GI Joe, due to the 80s Toy Expo on the Sunday.

Re: Convention question
TFcon is also known for tons of fan-favorite panels and social events. Most people who attend these end up having an unforgettable weekend.

Re: Convention question
I'm thinking its gonna happen. I would love to interact with some fellow fans face to face for once, I swear, no one around here really gives a crap about transformers, it kinda sucks.
And thank you for reminding me about the passport, I didnt even think about that before now.
Are there any sort of preregistration exclusives or bonuses like with events such as Botcon?

TFcon is a very social convention. The lobby has tables to sit and chat with other fans
and play with TF's.

All that kind of info will be available much closer to the convention, but yes there will be. Book your hotel room asap though, because they always fill up fast and it's cheaper.
