Ah, that's the other thing I forgot to mention in my post above: Kamen Rider and TFs have totally different fanbases.
Simply by this fact, this crossover would never work.

TFs, Marvel/DC, GIJoe and StarWars tend to have some overlap in fanbases, which is why those crossovers happen to be the "tried" ones.

Well, TF paired to GI Joe characters the size of HA Sam I guess, not existing ones. You need a reason to have GI Joe fans buy their favorite characters all over again, not just vehicles.

This side of the Pacific, I always thought that Kamen Rider / Masked Rider was really a niche market, same as Ultraman. More of a niche than even Kaiju. I don't think that would really appeal to the masses enough for Hasbro or Takara (doesn't Bandai have the rights to all of the Kamen Rider stuff anyways?).

Fiction wise, I guess anything's possible. There was an Alien Vs Predator Vs Terminator comic, and it wasn't half bad. And there's some awesome fan edited movies on Youtube that I've seen that blend everything from Robocop to The Matrix to Star Wars.

edit: And in all seriousness, once we got a Mickey Mouse Transformers crossover, Pandora's box was opened. I could see Kamen Rider and Transformers making more sense together than that mousebot that was released.
