Figure help

A few of my figures appear to have some joint issues.

- A screw on one of ROTF Sideswipe's arm feels loose.

-The ball-joints on Animated Blurr's lower torso, where his thighs are, make the legs feel loose. I have to put him laying back in order to get him to stand. Maybe it's the transformation of him or something. Sam problrem with ROTF Soundwave.

Could anyone please help me out. I've provided pics showing where the parts are.

Re: Figure help

try clear nail polish(make sure you give it enough time to fully cure before reassembly)

You're talking about the blurr and soundwave figure, right?

I'm referring to the black ball joints on the thigh area on the blurr figure.

In any case, thanks.

BUt what about Sideswipe?

you only need to coat the "ball" end of the socket, not blurr's thigh piece.for side swipe, same thing.nail polish.you need to get some in right where the actual joint pivots.then, every 5 minutes or so,move the joint around a bit.do that for about 20 mins(just to make sure the joint doesn't get stuck)you shouldn't have to dissassemble the arm joint to do this method of "stiffening"

Re: Figure help

If you are worried about screwing something up with the nail polish, try a small square of kleenex in the ball joint and then snap the ball back in!

I used to do that with my He-man figures when I was young. Actually works pretty well.

Re: Figure help

Tried the Kleenix thing on Blurr. Worked perfectly.

Same thing for ROTF soundwave although the legs sometimes pop out during transformation.

Any idea how to fix it?

And will the kleenix trick work for ROTF Sideswipe's arm?

Re: Figure help

Nail polish takes too long. I use super glue. Just be sure to move the joint until the glue is completely dry, otherwise...
