Recently, a buddy of mine approached me with his idea regarding ''Reverse Pretenders''. This idea would combine GI Joe and Transformers with a new twist. The basic premise is that the humanoid forms of the Pretenders are Joes and Cobras. They use a variety of transforming vehicles or mechs resembling their Transformers identities. I was intrigued by the ideas and took on the project. Here are the results.
What did you make the BAT and Iguanus figures from?
They are from a toyline called REVS. Not shown in the pics is the feature that the vehicle (Bomb-Burst and dreadnok Cycle) can be disassembled and attached to the robots to wear as a suit of armor. They are actually very cool to play around with.
