Reprolabels

Just got my first set of reprolabels and wondering if you guys have any best practices to share?

I saw some tips like taking apart the figures and washing them in warm soapy water etc...

TBH that's a bit more effort than I was planning.

Re: Reprolabels

I just use tweezers and carefully apply, especially the small parts. Good Luck

Re: Reprolabels

With dingdong on this one... lots of patience, take ur time a really good set of tweezers and a good hobby knife, I also tend to use toothpicks to get some of the labels in stickers or to push them down in hard to reach areas. Otherwise repros are great...

Re: Reprolabels

I agree with the other guys..take your time. I usually remove the old stickers unless they add to the over all look..sometimes I like the orginal sticker combined with the repro set..look as you go.

Re: Reprolabels

Do you just use finger nails to remove the old sticker?

Re: Reprolabels

You'll probably want to remove any residue from the old stickers with some scotch tape. Just make a loop with the sticky side out, and dab where there's old glue.

Re: Reprolabels

What works for me: gently let the sticker settle into place with the tweezer still lightly under it, rather than pushing it into place. That will allow you to easily lift it back up to tweak the placement. The idea is to not smush it on straightaway.

A little hard to explain but a gentle touch is the way to go.
