Re: Transformers quality control issues of 2011

Alright, I will do that. But here is the weird part, it is mostly sold out and I assume at best, I would get a refund at the sale price I bought it at. Is there a way to get some sort of rain check for when new stock arrives? Or hold on to it till there is a new sighting of Rodimus, but it would look kinda sketchy on my part for returning it so many days later.

Sorry for so many questions, this is new territory for me in the QC territory and returning.

buy a new one even at new full price whenever you see it, return your defective one and get that full price back.

Alright that makes sense. Back on the hunt again....

It's going to be sketchy to ask for a refund on a broken toy instead of a exchange. Guess I'll just say "toy sucks, broke on me. I want my money back." lol

its not sketchy because that's what happened. There has been a drastic shift in quality from hasbro in these past few years....well since animated. I have had many figures break on me either out of package or while transforming after the first couple times. you could still exchange it if you happen to have your busted one with you, you have 45 days to do it after pruchase. You should do what you feel comfortable with.

Thanks for the confidence boost Matrix Holder, I got my exchanged Rodimus. The perky lady at the CS counter wasn't willing to do the exchange at first calling the manager over and another employee to confirm first. It took some convincing but she eventually gave in and gave me my exchange.

The panel that has the vertical tail fins on my HFTD Leader Starscream keeps popping out.

My DOTM Deluxe Crankcase's knee joint won't bend all the way, I have to squeeze it tightly in order to do so.

And my HFTD Night Ops Ratchet...just the entire figure in general.

It locks in? Mine doesn't either unless it's not supposed to? But the piece itself isn't streamlined with the rest of the figure

It's just won't stay in.

I just put together my Kreo Starscream (Awesome Jet mode BTW) and I seem to have a piece of the wrong color.. It doesn't appear on the parts list.

It's the right shape, just dark grey instead of light grey.

And the pictures show two sets of tail stickers when there seems to be only one.

almost every kre-o set has this issue. i guess design changes happened and they couldn't turn back the printing on the instructions
