Tim Horton's Hockey Cards Promo

https://c2w.timhortons.com/en

It's so weird. All those years it's always been McDonald's.

Anyone collecting?

Anyone happy that it's no longer a McD's promo?

Re: Tim Horton's Hockey Cards Promo

Does no one here collect hockey cards anymore?

I got a few people here at work buying for their kids, unfortunately, they're trading with their own friends.

I don't see myself being able to complete the set, unlike the old McD's sets, they were much smaller sets. But it's still fun to collect for me.

Re: Tim Horton's Hockey Cards Promo

I stopped collecting around 97-98, I have a huge massive hockey cards collection. But Tim Horton's cards don't interest me, collecting hockey cards isn't as pleasing as it was when I was younger, so I hold on to those I have and reminisce of my youth and how I enjoyed trading my doubles with friends for those I was missing.

Ditto .... Collecting hockey cards just doesn't interest me much anymore. I do collect the odd Maple Leafs cards that I don't already own (eg. James Van Reims Dyk or Felix Potvin.) Maybe if the Leafs can improve as a team I might consider collecting more.

Re: Tim Horton's Hockey Cards Promo

Card collecting isn't the same anymore. Before, there were only a few sets, now, there are dozens and it seems there are more special cards (with variants!) than regular cards. Plus, most of them look horrid, they're way too busy. That, and Tim Thomas isn't playing anymore, so I don't have new cards to look forward to.
