i'm almost a 100% sure its not going to be 59.99. wasn't metroplex and soundwave supposedly cheaper when they announced it? like 100$ retail for metroplex and they jacked it to 150 when he was released

You are correct. They started cheap (before preorders went up) and then when preorders were started, the price skyrocketed (because this is when Hasbro confirmed costs to all retailers).
