Fans Toys Lupus and Phoenix

Got a pre order email from a3u and don't remember hearing about this (although someone will probably point to an existing thread). Sort of out of left field but reeks of awesomeness

I didn't hear about these myself until browsing through pics from the TFcon 3P event.

You should check them out, there's a pic in there showing Pheonix's scale next to MP10.

When I saw Lupus in the display case at TFCon, I scratched Cupola off my wish list. If Fans Toys are doing Headmasters, I'm all in with them. Seeing Phoenix in the slideshow was icing on the cake. Plus they are also tackling the triple changers with Springer and Blitzwing coming up too. My wallet is gonna be dead!

Re: Fans Toys Lupus and Phoenix

I think that they are going to accent the Maketoys headmasters as were have only gotten Autobots and have only been revealed with Autobots I would think from the pics used in the panel that they (FT) is going to be doing the Cons and in that case, would be BAD ASS ! as the MT Headmaster series for a MP scale are so AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Fans Toys Lupus and Phoenix

Lupus is not until Dec 2017 so I'm not even considering a preorder yet. FT-8 Grinder (Grimlock) and Sovereign (Galvatron) are next up to bat, both for Dec of this year. Time to finally complete the Dinobots and shoot MP-11 Coronation Starscream in the nose cone.

Re: Fans Toys Lupus and Phoenix

I'm pretty sure I'm going to skip Pheonix despite how great he might/will be. Grinder isn't even on my radar. MP Grimlock will do just fine. The only reason why I pass on those is money. It isn't what they cost, it's what I already own wouldn't be worth 2 wooden nickels (MP Grimlock and Kronos) so to upgrade to FT versions and not be able to sell the other two won't work for me. Lupus will be a must have when it comes out and hopefully they go through the whole run of Decepticons before touching an Autobot as I would like Maketoys to finish them. Sovereign is a no brainer for me and has been on pre-order from day one. I would hope that we get a reveal on their Scourge and Cyclonus since I'm sure the XTB Cyclonus will be out soon and have to decide which to go with. My plan for that will be to pick up another Andras so I can have 2 as Sweeps and FT Scourge as Scourge (if that makes sense)

Re: Fans Toys Lupus and Phoenix

Doesn't XTB have a two or three pack of Sweeps?
