Poll. Do you display your TF's by size/style or grouped by series? - Cybertron.CA - Canadian Transformers News and Discussion

So.. i'm planning to reorganize all of my shelves tomorrow and can't decide if i want to sort them by series or do the whole mixed class portrait style. (you know, tallest at the back, ugly kids tucked off to the side j/k

)

Thoughts? Suggestions? How do you display them? Do you keep cars with cars, jets with jets etc..?

Right now, I have them by toyline/faction. With Henkeis mixed in with Universe.

That could easily change though - I've had them grouped by continuity before as well.

sometimes its by size.if they cannot fit into a walmart tupperware bin without taking up half of the tub then they're on the shelf(fort max,brave max,g1 scorpy,trypticon,metroplex,energon megs,combined armada prime,etc)but most of the time i display them by "favorites of the moment".it just sucks doing it like this cause most of the time it ends up looking like a giant robot mosh pit.

How about by character? That's how I display mine and see how the figure evolved through out the years. If I only have one figure of a particular character then anything goes.

...but I also display them in battle scene poses... to change things up a little.

Good point. I do have a special section for OPs, BBs and SSs. Can't decide if they should stay together or not.

I really need to do some shelf re-organization myself... I more or less have them by series and faction.... so on shelf will feature decepticons from Rid, then armada, then energon, cybertron, and movie, from left to right. the shelf on top is autobots.. g1, rid, etc... But it really needs a good sorting out still. I think I would liek some more shelf space!~!

I used to display them all together, regardless of series, but now I sort them by size & series, it seems to keep things in order. And I always transform them into vehicle mode for a time, then change them back. The only character I have who can't transform into vehicle is Animated Stealth Lockdown, one of his pegs broke off & now it's stuck in a hole on him.

I sort them by series, faction, and size. How I organize them is one or two shelves per series, if two then by faction, then I keep the bigger ones in the back and smaller in the front.
With only one shelf I keep to one series and have the Decepticons and Autobots on the left or right, or I just mix them up with however they look best together.
