Like I said, I really enjoyed it, haven't played GB yet. But the characters powers and abilities in Proto are pretty sweep. He can genetically absorb people and take their form, powers, etc. Some missions require stealth and absorbing military people. He's kinda like Spawn I guess. It's a cool game, def check it out.

Re: PS3 Infamous - Worth it?

It has been a toss up for me between Prototype and Infamous. At first I was really looking forward to Proto, but then after reading a few reviews, Infamous was looking to be the better game. I tried the Infamous demo and it's pretty sweet. being able to climb anything is awesome. I'd like to try a prototype demo, but the only thing that's holding me back from really liking it now is the lack in variety of baddies.

Prototype and Infamous are nothing alike.

I guess one of the cool things about Infamous too, is you can choose to be good or bad.

but they both do have the same general idea. Sandbox city with something that happened to the city and the main character that he must find out what exactly happened. the one major difference would be the amount of blood and gore in Proto compared to infamous. but yes, the general story lines are completely different.

Re: PS3 Infamous - Worth it?

Briefly considered prototype but ended up grabbing infamous this aft. Watched a bunch of video reviews online that made up my mind. I dunno...maybe i just prefer electrocuting people instead of chopping them to bits??

Acording to Best Buy's summer sale guide, Infamous is going on sale for 29.99 from June 30 to July 2nd. This was in Canadian Best buys, dunno if it applies to everywhere else.
