Octane and Blitzwing look good, passes for me given that they're straight repaints though

Twintwist looks about what I expected after seeing Topspin. Windblade pretty cool I guess?

That is unfortunate about the boxsets, HOWEVER, having looked at them, there's a lot in there I like. I'm going to have to start setting aside cash for them.

I think you're right, I was just comparing a few pics. The legs are the same, tank mode is basically the same, but the jet and top half are almost entirely redone with minimal shared parts. Maybe the fists. And the way Overlord has his classic "jet on shoulder" arm, wheras Sky Shadow has the jet nose on his BACK. Wow.

More changes than I expected on Octane, as well. I think vehicle modes are similar, but new chest, abs, shoulder things, WINGS, cool new gun. Blitzwing has a new chest piece and gun but that's about it; for my money I'm actually going to keep thrilling 30 Blitzwing for my voyager triplechangers. Oddly I almost think the TR mold works *better* as IDW styled Megatron.

I want almost every fucking toy on display there. Unreal. Rumour is from the Speed set confirmation (posted on TFW a few days ago from a TRU Canada computer) $150 cdn for the box, which is the same as the CW boxsets. That's not terrible, even if a little overpriced. Actually a better value than the combiners. Leader 60 + voyager 30 + deluxe 20 + "legends" 14 + a head for 5. So around 130. Whatever. Don't even fucking care. I'll probably sell Quickswitch and Tidal Wave.

The Strength Set being a BBTS exclusive is a LITTLE concerning, with exchange and all. So we'll see if there's a Canadian release or not, but honestly? Takara Ginrai alone runs 90 us bucks on BBTS. So Ginrai, Tidal Wave (sadly one of the only real disappointments for me), Pounce, METALHAWK (!), and Thunderwing's head for probably 10-30 bucks more than Ginrai alone? Huh. I'm in.

Jumpstarters = money. Trypticon is unbelievable. Seaspray is a delight. Windblade looks interesting, it was rumoured she was a retool of Highbrow but that is an INTENSE retool, especially making her so much more slender. You can see where she has the Scourge/Highbrow waist mechanism. I'm good with Thrilling 30 Windblade but it's a pretty impressive feat.
