I'm not making that mistake again! When Red Cog came out I ran to get him and paid TRU's extortion pricing. Then he shelf-warmed forever. Sure, Wheeljack is way more popular as a G1 Cybertronian form character, but I'm hoping there's enough of us that refuse to pay TRU for gouging us so it ends up going on sale.
Man, can you imagine if this sells for $54.99 and then starts to yellow or something like that. I wouldn't be surprised.

I can tolerate a markup on exclusives. When they sell regular figures at those prices though, it's a bit much.
What's ridiculous is when they put the exclusives on sale while keeping the regular prices high. Why clear out the stuff that only you have, leaving overpriced stuff that can be bought anywhere else.
BTW, Wheeljack is a Voyager, so it's about a $7 premium over, say, Walmart's pricing.

Red Cog just irked me because he was just a deluxe with some extra guns so paying Voyager price for him would have bummed me out even without the TRU markup.
