When you go to Collect mode now, you'll see 4 new buttons:

These control which products you see when browsing catalogs. In the image above, "Wants" is toggled, so I'm only being shown the products that I want.

Give it a go and let us know what you think!

I can't see it (Is it only on a certain browser?)

you probably have to select a sub menu. After I changed to Collect I had to browse the catalogs and clicked on "Transformers"

Re: ShelfLife Beta Test Announcement: Very Exciting Stuff

here's a feature that would be nice to have.

in collect mode it would be nice to be able to list which country package. IE tri logo vs US english vs asian vs Japanese. for both those mib collectors but also cuz sometimes there are variations between country releases.

Hey Foxw,

Generally these kind of scenarios should already be covered by our creation of seperate catalogues for USA vs. Japanese releases. Variations in CDN packaging should be handled as seperate products in the USA catalogues or alternatively we could create CDN catalogues.

Anyone else have thoughts on that?

James

Well, Japanese and US releases can also have very different features, paint, etc. - so for this reason I think a separate catalogue makes sense. Whereas Canadian (and probably some other) packaging contains the same product, but a different box/cardback.

Putting separate products in the US catalogue would create duplicates of every single item...not sure it would be a good idea to do that.

Could we universally add a "packaging language" attribute for those who who have the package to report if it's English only, bi-lingual (English/French), tri-lingual (English/French/Spanish), etc. etc.

Re: ShelfLife Beta Test Announcement: Very Exciting Stuff

^ look at brutes last line. THats what I ment. just add another attribute so package style can be specified.

once the bts system goes live, I honesty think such an attribute will prove important.

IE, my entire TFA collection is in tri-logo. Adding a us package to the wall would well, make it an oddity. It would be like having 5 MP primes and having one of them in dayglow green on a shelf. while cool, would disrupt the flow of the visual display.

(yes i'm that anal @ times)

Re: ShelfLife Beta Test Announcement: Very Exciting Stuff

Hey guys. Give photo uploads a try in Internet Exploder now. I was finally able to dedicate some time to fixing the problem. However, we could use some help testing the heck out of it.

Let us know if it does/doesn't work for you!

Re: ShelfLife Beta Test Announcement: Very Exciting Stuff

something I noticed yesterday, that I thought I would mention. Not sure if it has been brought up before.

I was converting a WANT into an HAVE, so I added the HAVE, then went to REMOVE the want. There was no option to say I simply bought the item at Retail. Only Trades and other types of stuff. did I miss something?

Yeah, we're going to add a "retail store" option to the second dropdown. In the meantime, you can select "other".
