Movie Legends Ironhide/Jetfire

I liked the legends, but some are just screaming for some paint. Ironhide was a favorite so I started with him. Both are almost the same with just diffrent colors. The white on Jetfire isin't great, but I was testing a water color white. I think I learned something, other than I hate white paint. Yellow kind of sucks too.

Nice homage to the G1 stuff! Very cool.

Re: Movie Legends Ironhide/Jetfire

sweet! it's amazing what a few minor paint apps do to a bot!!
now you just gotta give him his "bling" and slap some hotwheels on him
(a bit of c/c,did you prime jetfire before you painted the white?it was a pain in the a## to get nice coverage wasn't it?)now you make me wanna track down the new rotf version of legends ironhide!nice color scheme

Re: Movie Legends Ironhide/Jetfire

Thanks guys!

I was learning to mix paints and just playing with a bunch of diffrent nozzles on the new airbrush. I thought I'd play with white and he the experiment. No primer and way to many poor coats. Plus I cound resist playing with him. It was al learning. The yellow on ironhide had about 5 coats and I think I'll do another yet. The hot wheels is a great idea too!
