Just finished watching "The Pack." Still think Buffy is better.

All I know is that Smallville has some really atrocious episodes and is way more predictable. The characters aren't that good, except for Lex and a couple others.

The only good things about Smallville are Lois, Chloe, and Lex. Lex has such incredible character development. In the beginning, you didn't think he'd become the villain that you knew he would, and actually hoped that there was something that would stop it from happening. He was something of a victim of circumstance, in that people always assume right off the bat that he's scum because he's his father's son, and he always makes an effort to try and distance himself from what it meant to be a Luthor in everybody else's lives. He does good for other people, and while he sometimes (okay, very often) has a hidden agenda for the things he does, there is a part of him that really does care. Sadly, the scale begins to slide from Doing the Right Thing to Personal Interests and Screw Everybody else more and more as seasons progress, but even in later seasons he'll still do selfless things that will shock you.

More often than not, though, he's just so much of an ass that you want to pull your hair out and stab him with blunt objects.

It's ironic in that he becomes what he wanted to avoid, and his father actually ends up changing for the better (somewhat). He's very complex, and has got excellent character dynamics with his father, and with Clark.

Everybody else can really go to hell. Really, from seasons 1-6, it was basically Clark saving Lana's useless-though-admittedly-hot ass because every bad guy from there to Metropolis wanted to hit that, with a side of Clark emoing about he can Never Tell Her. Even though he finds himself in an overwhelming number of situations that prove she can handle the truth and accepts it. They go back and forth like that for 6 seasons.

Yeeep.

Really, Lois was a Godsend. Blunt, hilarious, useful, kicked ass and took names--literally and often. The beginnings of the Justice League were cool, I thought too. Impulse is always fun to watch.

Oh, right, Buffy. I'll have to watch it again. I watched the first few seasons when it first came out, but then stopped. I hear people talking about it all the time, and haven't realized just how hilarious and snarky it could be.

KK is hotter, but she has done too many unforgivable things like: turn Lana into an annoying bitch, grind with Matt Damon, cheat on Johnny, think she could be Chun-li, be in Earthsea, Not answer my Phone Calls/Emails/Singing Telegrams/Faxes/Gifts of used underwear. That's right she's a straight up bitch.
