TFcon Questions

Saw some TFcon pics.

-Those awards looked outstanding! And I LOVED the plaques of Hot Rod doing the Ernest laugh!
Who were those for?

-Was Colompio a TFcon exclusive? Awesome toy, but I don't get the connection, what does Colompio mean?

Re: TFcon Questions

the trophies were for the 3d art,
the big hotrod plaques were for 2d art and yups, the columpio that was at tfcon was an exclusive version for the show, metallic red chest paint, chrome gold toes and the little figure with him has magnets in his feet ala 'vintage diaclone driver",
whereas the upcoming mass release will have regular red panted chest, gold panted toes and the transformng weaponmaster little guy.
there could be other differences but these were the ones i noticed the most in the dealer room as they had one columpio exclusive version on display out of box right where you pay at the booth and the actual mass release version in the detolf cases.

Re: TFcon Questions

No clue on the first question.

For Columpio, this *version* is a TFCON exclusive. The retail mass release will be different. This version has: unique Diaclone homage box, Styrofoam insert (regular wont), chrome feet and chest parts, color scheme, and Diaclone driver instead of the targetmaster.

No clue what they meant by "Columpio", but in Spanish it means "a swing for kids". Like a kids' swingset.

One guy I talked to figured it was supposed to sound like "clump" like heavy walking.
