Photos your proud of.
Everyone here must have a photo they have taken, or own that has a special meaning to them, or captures a special memory. It could be of a special place you visited, a person you love, a moment you captured for someone else.
This is not a toy gallery. Post pictures with a brief description on why the photo is special for you.
mine:
pic 1 is taken just outside Gallup, New mexico. I said all my life i would drive US route 66 one day, and last May, me and my GF took 3 weeks and drove as far as Gallup. we camped in my van every night except 4, when we stayed at small roadside motels to get the feel of the history. We stayed at El Rancho motel in gallup, the home of the movie stars from the 50's and 60's.
pic 2 is of the desert just outside Santa Fe, where i had the best chicken enchilada i have ever eaten.
pic 3 is from my trip to the UK in october. i spent 2 hours at stonehenge taking pictures. I actually sat there for a while on the grass and teared up.it was a very important milestone for me, and when i got home, i got this tattooed on my leg

I'm no professional, but I like these pics:
1 and 2. From the sunrise that I watched on the beach in Mexico.
3. My kids at Huntington beach CA at one of my most memorable vacations ever.
More to come.

Thanks! This is a fun thread. I love looking though my old vacation pics and taking the time to remember...
All your shots are great, but the second one is really amazing looking.
I will post more, but I have to upload to photobucket.
