Metropolis Comics and Toys has announced Metrocon, a meet-up event for all Transformers fans in the Lower Mainland, BC happening on November 19th. Come out and meet fellow fans, see the faces and personalities behind those online avatars and make some new friends. Buy, sell and trade your wares with each other, and most importantly have a good time. Read on for the details.

Greetings everyone! I'm here today to proudly announce Metrocon happening at our very own store, Metropolis Comics and Toys!

What is Metrocon you ask? Metrocon is essentially a meet-up event for all Transformers fans in the Lower Mainland, BC. Come out and meet fellow fans, see the faces and personalities behind those online avatars and make some new friends! Buy, sell and trade your wares with each other. And most importantly, have a good time.

Now I'm sure you're thinking this all sounds very familiar since there have been meet-ups in the past, so let me give you scoop on what's different.

-All loose Transformers in our display case will be 20% off.
-All other regular items will get you double stamps on your Stamp Cards. For those not familiar with our Stamp Cards, every item you buy priced at $9.99 or more gets you a stamp, 10 stamps nets you $10 off any purchase!
-Customs table! Yes, come on down and show off your awesome customs at a dedicated table!

And best of all, we'll be having special guests at the event! Our first special guest is customizing super-star Encline! You all know him, you all love his work, so come on down and meet the man and hopefully see some of his lovely works of art in person! We'll be announcing our other guests in the near future as we get closer to the date of the event, so keep your eyes peeled.

All of this will be happening on November 19th from 4pm to 8pm or possibly beyond. It's a Saturday so mark off your calenders, book off work and hopefully we'll see many of you local fans there!

Yeah, the store does have FREE parking at the back! If your driving west bound on Kingsway, toward the store, make a right turn into the street/alley next to the Subway restaurant, and you'll see a parking area around fencing on the left. The stalls will have a sign stating its for Metropolis Comics customers.
