Got the same nonsense. Never paid cash so not worried about that. Problem for me is I don't know if any of the stuff I ordered months ago ever came in so like everyone else just have to wait for him to sift through all the emails I'm sure he's been bombarded with and look for an alternative for all that.

well shit, that sucks. don't like seeing anyone go out of business and lose their job. he always came across as genuine and trying to do the right thing. sucks he had to close shop when shitheads like NMC are still around.

Even in the worst of it, it seems to me like he's really trying to make sure everyone is taken care of. good guy right there.


That all said, if you have an outstanding order and the worst happens (aka bankruptcy which results in you not getting a refund) then if you paid for the order with a credit card, remember to contact your credit card company as they can offer e-commerce protections.

My email to the refund email address got kicked back, saying it was rejected by the email provider.

Well this is sad news. I never purchased anything from Outrun but i almost did on a couple occasions and likely would have in the future. Seemed like a good selection and fair prices. And Chris would post about new products and sales here and interect with us members. I hope your health issues improve Chris and you get back on your feet. And hopefully all outstanding orders get resolved in the near future.

It really saddens me to see this, my experiences with Outrun were fantastic. Chris was really nice and helpful. I hope everything gets resolved and wish Chris nothing but the best and much health.

So if I have read this correctly, if you choose to get a refund that comes thru a third party and will take up till the end of November before you get the money back?

Thats what I interpreted. However if your dealing with creditors are we getting the full amount back or a percentage on the dollar which worries me.

Has anyone heard anything back after contacting the refund email? I followed up almost immediately after receiving the notice but so far have had no follow-up.

Took 2 days but did get a response. Was only told that nothing I pre ordered came in so my name would be added to the refund list.
