Re: Project Lugnut
Ahh, cool! And there are the transformed pics. Crazy that it actually works! I hope transforming it isn't too much of a pain.

Re: Project Lugnut
This turned out incredibly well...so impressed! I LOVE animated, and you nailed the scale of this dude! WAY more intimidating and the sculpt is sublime.
Is there any partsforming for the transformation?

Re: Project Lugnut
There is a little partsforming, but just the backpack/nacelles. No more than the original toy with the power-staff/tail.
Here's the animation of the transformation. (also linked in the OP):

Re: Project Lugnut
What's better than one giant robot? Two giant robots?
Hmm, yeah, I see what you mean about the colors not working out. For whatever reason red and yellow together always just make me think of catsup and mustard.
Cool to see that the print and assembly is repeatable though! Sometimes these things are fiddly to get right. Did you have to scrap any parts on the Atomic variant?

Re: Project Lugnut
Just noticed that you added the inset Decepticon logos on the shoulders for both versions. Here's a picture you sent me where you can see the colored insets.
Did you use gold logos on the atomic one?
I think you used ABS, right? Have you considered trying acetone vapor smoothing to get rid of the print lines?

Re: Project Lugnut
I did purple logos again, something about purple decepticon logos...can't stray from it. They could have been gold though. Was going to print in ABS but PETG was easer.
