Only in the cartoon, the Frenzy toy is blue. And Hasbro follows the G1 toys. Always. Tak/To follows the Cartoon. Sometimes. A lot of their Frenzy's are blue too.

Absolutely! I am well versed in the silliness that is firrib/ribfir. For me, the cartoon rumble left the biggest lasting impact and was my introduction to the character. Toon frenzy was barely around and even the comics, which inform a lot of my tf head canon, don't have the tapes around much.

I simply can't associate the black and red robot as rumble or the blue one as frenzy. I gives me a cognitive headache.
