G1 Headmasters Optimus Prime

Alright, so I already have a Powermasters Optimus Prime (God Ginrai), a Targetmasters Optimus Prime (Orion Pax), so I thought, why not a Headmasters Optimus Prime? As a fan of non-traditional Prime designs (and too lazy to make my own), I thought of using Chromedome's body and Brainstorm's head as I dig the idea of Prime being a car (G2 Gobots, Alternity). Here's a rough digibash of the concept.



I also thought of using Hosehead's body and Horri-bull's head to create a more traditional-looking Prime, but I'm not a huge fan of the simplified design for both the body and the head.

I think the mold and head work. You could paint a blue design on the chest/hood of the car to mimick the windows.

Good idea, maybe some stylish stripes would do. I would also add faction symbols on both shoulders. And light blue eyes, not yellow.

nice!! you could even go as far as giving him the g1 shoulder pipes/stacks.make it so they can flip around 180 degrees and it could work as side exhaust pipes when he's in vehicle mode

Another excellent idea, never thought of that! They'd have to be single exhaust pipes though to make sure Prime is not mistaken for Protoman's favorite robodude.

You know the tech-spec indicators that rotate under his chest plate? You can tinily paint a Matrix there, so it appears when Prime is in robot (head) mode.

Also, since he's bonded with PM Hi-Q and Minicon SparkPlug, the headmaster's name can be either Hi-Plug or SparQ.
