Re: Shame on you, Hasbro!

He's essentially the same amount of toy that leaders have been since 2013, just shorter and squatter with more stuff of his back.

Grimlock, who is in the same wave, is the same height as the two older leaders.

Again this happenes 5 years ago, we've all either accepted it or stopped buying. It's way past the point where whining about it does anything but annoy your peers

I don't know how some guys tolerate this rip off, and even start to defend it because get used to it?

Actually not only these 2 options now, I have one more option than 5 years ago, buy the KO or even the OS KO.

Well I don't buy KO but I may if some Chinese scaled up this mold to size with the old ROLF leader class.

BTW, I don't think SS Grimlock is the same height as the two older leaders.

Both grimlock and blackout are good toy. Too bad grimlock's right hand is always in hammer shape.

Re: Shame on you, Hasbro!

When looking at price point classes you also have to take product mass, bulk, and parts count Into consideration. That's why we never got a transformers prime voyager class breakdown, parts count and complexity didn't meet the voyager class budgets. Leader class black out scales perfectly with the new series and from the video reviews I've seen, he looks to be far superior to the past blackout figures by kilometers. Hasbro is fully justified with having this as a leader class figure, fully justified, and I don't even like the movie onscreen figures.

Watch Bens collectables review of blackout to see how massive he actually, those still photos don't do him any justice.

No, Movie the Best is from japan and is only repainted toys that already exist.

Studio Series is from hasbro and Japan is releasing the exact same toys. These toys are mostly new.

The price has been found to be $69.99, if ever you were curious.

Re: Shame on you, Hasbro!

... I'm confused? I thought Studio Series was a microcosm where everything is supposed to scale within the line?

Obviously things are going to be smaller than Buster Prime/RotF mold from way back. That's been happening since ever.

I dunno, I don't really collect movie figures. That Grimlock blows the old trash heap out of the water though.
