Re: Generations Leader Jetfire - Baltmatrix
I got Jetfire this weekend and I think he's great. No plastic problems nor stress nor scary clicking or bending on mine.
Fantastic toy, IMHO.

But... you had to buy a $100+ Transformer to sticker him. FAIL.

Re: Generations Leader Jetfire - Baltmatrix
I saw Jetfire in Target yesterday. My first reaction was he is not white. He's more of an off white. It was a let down for me. I decided not to get it because of that. He did look good though. The red chrome was real nice. Is there a reason why they didn't choose white?

Re: Generations Leader Jetfire - Baltmatrix
He's whiter than Classics Jetfire but less white than Kronos.

Nah.
You know better than that.
I didn't pay 140$ + tax on metro. 80$ I think.
The stickers I used are from the boarders. Something most people would throw away after use.

Re: Generations Leader Jetfire - Baltmatrix
Having picked mine up today I am quite happy with it. No issue with stress marks loud clicks or this plastic quality that I have read. A little lighter than I would have thought before having read the comments here but I have no complaints. For me, it will scale in much better with my "classics" than my classics jetfire. I replaced classics grimlock with the FOC/AOE Target exclusive and this will do the same so my Jetfire/Grimlock 2 pack goes up for sale. Very happy with this figure but I do wish the figure looked my like the pic on the reverse of box

I really like what you did there! That's pretty smart to put your own stickers/decals on this leader Jetfire. He now looks 10 times better! I was very tempted to paint it, but then apply some custom stickers like that should do the trick, so much easier. Yes, I wouldn't buy those stickers from Reprolabels either, way over price.

Do you think that using degreaser would also work on the gold chrome used on YOTH Optimus?

Bone white plastic apparently.
