Re: Hasbro Masterpiece Bluestreak released in Canada
If you order early from Takara, you're looking at $50 - $60 max with shipping.
US versions used to be 50% below that cost. Soundwave with all his tapes for $120? Good deal. A year later a crappy repaint for more than $200? Go home TRU, you're drunk.
This should be in the $40-$50 dollar range at best for the size and complexity. If you want to push it, I'd pay $60 and match Japan. $90 is just greed.

Re: Hasbro Masterpiece Bluestreak released in Canada
Just noticed TRU can ship that one to Quebec. Not counting that ugly Soundwave redeco, is that a first for the MP line?

Where do you buy your MP? I got my MP-18 shipped from Japan for about $60. No duty or tax.

Re: Hasbro Masterpiece Bluestreak released in Canada
Charging 90$ seems to be the same as when you buy one from an online retailer in North America (like Automation, Tfsoure), but if you buy from a Japanese retailer 90$ seems expensive, since you are use to paying 60$.
Also, paying 210$ for Soundwave is expensive, but not more expensive than buy MP-13 plus all the tapes

You can't compare MP-13, 14 and 15 to Shitwave

LOL! True enough. It does look like shit, but the clear tapes look nice. They should had chose a different character for it though. Soundwave looks horrible, hopefully it gets good discount to satisfy Soundwave collected........

Re: Hasbro Masterpiece Bluestreak released in Canada
I'll go Takara route just to avoid that horrendous packaging. WAY too large. But I guess it's because they ship him in robot mode. Why, no clue. I actually did go the Takara route for Streak. I wish I did the same for Prowl, though. That box. Yikes.
Oh, and the price was better overseas. All the carbots were. This is just Hasbro trying to get people to fork over Soundwave dollars for something smaller and with less add-ons.
But...if you get him on sale? There ya go.
