Re: Breaking Bad dolls removed from Toys 'R' Us website after mom's petition
While it bugs me that a mommy blogger can cause such waves because she is "offended" I feel that TRU was lucky to not be called on it sooner.
Its an image thing. Toy R Us probably should have known better, in this day and age, to sell ADULT collectible figures at store that primarly markets itself as a childrens toy store. I'm surprised that the Walking Dead figures have not been banned too.
For the record, I do not agree with the decision, I'm just not surprised with it.

Re: Breaking Bad dolls removed from Toys 'R' Us website after mom's petition
While I understand that mother's concern, I think they over reacted. You don't want a kid playing with Breaking Bad figures, don't buy them or let them take them off the shelves.
Also, the kids won't know the who Walter White is. They'll just think they're figures like the Black Knight figure or Spiderman or Lex Luthor. So unless the parents are letting their kiddies watch Breaking Bad, what's the harm?

Re: Breaking Bad dolls removed from Toys 'R' Us website after mom's petition
I said this over and over on other social media but I will say it here too.
The year is 1986 and Remco does the Rambo toys (R rated movie for violence, gore, swearing and minor nudity)
The year is 1988 and Robocop toys hit TRU (R rated movie for violence, gore, swearing and drug use)
The year is 1988 and Police Academy toys hit the shelves of TRU (R rated movie for full frontal nudity, swearing and sex humor)
The year is 1991 and the Toxic Crusaders toy line come out (Based cartoon based on the Toxin Avengers movie, R-Rated for Gore and violence)
Don't even get me started on the Alien and Predator toy lines of the 90s or Terminator (Mind you both skated the thin ice of PG-13 to Rated R)
Anyhow this shit has been going on for years. You know what is different? Now you have a soccer mom with nothing better to do, bored on Facebook and just looking to get on a soapbox over SOMETHING.
Let's walk down the aisle of TRU shall we, oh bitchy of maternal figures.
Spoiler honey, those Marvel toys? One of them smokes cigars all the time and is a violent murderer (Wolverine), one had a serious drunking problem and was a major alcoholic (Ironman)
See those Batman toys? Nothing but murderers and former rape victims there. And drugs and mafia activity? Don't even get me starter
How about those innocent WWE figures? What's that? Beer, swearing and flipping the bird? Give me a hell yeah! (PUPPIES!!!)
Good job lady, welcome to 2014, get a life.

Re: Breaking Bad dolls removed from Toys 'R' Us website after mom's petition
Ya heard about this the other day on the radio. I think it's ridiculous. I also seen these @ other retailers as well. There's a lot of other figures though that are just as questionable like Diablo, Freddy Krueger or Jason Voorhee's figures. How come these aren't asked to be pulled from shelves when there just as bad if not worse then the Breaking Bad figures ?
