Good episode, hope we get to see more insecticons. Shame no Shockwave, but I think it was to be expected. Though having scraplets on cybertron may be an err on the writers behalf cause wouldn't they just eat the entire planet? I'm concerned about the Scraplets and that Insecticon being left there in the Vector Sigma chamber. Sure the Scaplets probably killed the Insecticon, but what about the Scraplets themselves? They can fly remember? They probably survived the fall. And what's to prevent them from flying back up and eating Vector Sigma? I know they'll probably might never return to Vector Sigma in a future episode. Or maybe they will. Who know? But I really wouldn't like see it potentially destroyed. I'd actually like see what kind of connection it has to Primus. Like if Vector Sigma recharges the Matrix, and the Matrix was given to Prime by Primus(assuming WFC is continuity), then they must be connected. And how does the wisdom of the ages get to Vector Sigma? Does it always have it and did Jack just download a copy?

Also, I noticed an animation error. Watch Optimus's logos on his shoulders when he jumps though the space bridge. They briefly change back to Autobot logos. Which I thought was weird. Maybe the Matrix recharge also sort of healed him back to his old Prime self, especially since Optimus seemed to have no knowledge of his time in captivity by Megatron. But then when he gets back to the base he's got the Decepticon logos again. Oops!

I noticed the same animation error but it was his left shoulder at the end he presented with the con symbol on it, and in part 1 that they showed being etched on him. The symbol was on his right shoulder that we got a peek of when he entered the ground bridge, so perhaps that shoulder was left with the autobot symbol?

I have to agree with you on them being in Vector Sigma's chamber, that's just asking for all the secrets of the ancients to be destroyed.

I felt kinda bad for the insectcon. Falling off a brdige while being eaten alive isn't exactly the most pleasant way to go.

No, both shoulders have had the Decepticon logo on them. I've actually been playing close attention to them during all 3 parts thinking that they would eventually mess that up. Almost thought they wouldn't until that shot. Best I can guess is that they actually created a new model for Orion Pax. One with Decepticon logos instead of Autobot ones. But when they got to that scene, they switched back to they Optimus model. Maybe because the Orion model does have all the special animations like the facemask and weapon swaps built into it. I don't know how they handle their animation stuff, so that's just speculation. Could just be poor directing/editing. Maybe the director told the animator that, "OK, now he's Optimus again and he's gonna kick Megatrons ass...". So the animator just figured he'd better use the Optimus model with the Autobot logos. Either way, someone wasn't paying attention. Wouldn't be that big of a deal if they didn't almost shove it your face for that brief second.

Does it seem like the audio is out of sync to anyone else for like half -1 second? And I could see scan lines too. I usually watch this on youtube and not through torrents.

Anyways. "Oh my god!" was what I said when after Optimus became himself, put on his faceplate and got down to business with Megatron. Very very seldom has a show got me to say anything out loud, but damn was I enthralled and so invested in what I was seeing. At first before Arcee and Jack enter the space bridge, I was thinking everything seems to be wrapping up quickly. But man, when it all went down, everything from pacing to the build up of the music was so perfect and emotionally satisfying and wrapped up the episode so well.

I wonder what about the scraplets in the room? I guess they only eat living metal and with Vector Sigma off now, I guess it should be okay.

One question. When the insecticon first jumps down and looks at jack and then at arcee... Whe does it focus on a scratch on her wing and then attack her? Did I miss something?

Very good episodes with intense scenes!
But yeah... Like Obakemono said... for me, it feels like the insecticon did not like the fact that Vector Sigma was getting attacked by those scraplets ... Coz the insecticon was left behind as sentry to protect it against the enemy right?
