Alt-Mode or Robot Mode

It depends, most of my Classics figures are in bot mode except for the ones with beast-like modes (Grimlock for example). My Movie figures are in alt mode except for the ones that I've been fiddling with recently like Recon Ironhide. The rest are either in bot or alt mode based on shelf space.

Since they occupy less shelf space this way, mostly I've displayed figures in bot mode.

But there are a few that I sometimes swap between bot and alt modes. Like the Alternators.

Whatever mode looks better, it varies by figure. I like my dinos in dino mode and seekers in jet mode. But I love my combiners in gestalt mode.

Robot mode, except for two of the Grimlocks that just look really good in alt mode.

Like most people, mine are mostly in bot mode. Also like most people, all my Dinobots are in dino-mode. However, I prefer MP Grimlock in robot mode (and with blue eyes!).

Most are in robot mode, but that's mainly because I only have so much shelf space at the moment.
