Yeah, so the negative feedback didn't go on his account, I think actually that may have been a bug in the mobile version of ebay, as I know on the actual site there was no way to leave feedback for this transaction (as no money was ever exchanged).
However, I did find something semi useful. I searched their site for "unpaid item", and one of the suggestions was to "appeal an unpaid item complaint"
Clicked a few buttons, and eBay gives you a one time free grace against those, so it has been erased from my account.
Better than nothing. I still feel wheeljackslab is evil to deal with any sets his own rules. As well after going through all of this, I'm not impressed with eBay's lack of help and support for buyers.
