$70 G1 Optimus

For soundwave unless the price is affordable i will be happy with only my g1 boxed. For optimus i am in research of a really nice one in box so i dont buy the reissue walmart

As I said in the Ontario sightings thread, I was worried that I would cave when I saw Prime in person.

Well I found 2 today at my local Walmart and I was pleased to see that while I did think it was a nice piece, I was nowhere near buying it for that crazy price. Especially since they were in amongst the Hot Rods and they are literally the same size/style box, but almost double the price? No thanks.

Never will happen, afaik Bandai owns the rights to the original G1 mold. But I could be wrong.

Haha. I have that version of Prime and it is really nice for a diecast vehicle. Definitely not $70 nice.

I guess everyone's different. Does that Die-Cast Prime Transform?
If No, then I would never pay 15$ for it, or any other Action Master.
But then, I have been tempted by some.

So I guess everyone is different, yet we all have some inconsistencies where you might want something you wouldn't usually get otherwise.

It's a mix of Bandai and Harmony Gold that will prevent that from happening as that "original G1" was a Macross Valkyrie.

I was surprised, even amazed that they managed to pull the Classics and Generation Thrilling 30 versions out without much backlash.

But the 2013 G.I. Joe non-transforming plane didn't avoid it and lawsuits and settlements were made.
