Re: review: Takara Masterpiece MP12 MP 12 Sideswipe Lambor

It's an amazing figure, hands down. Sure he's a little costly but that's largely due to exchange rates. The red paint on the clear plastic probably could have been better but unless you really get in there and look, it's not noticeable on mine. The cries for rubber tires and die cast is really just looking for fault with the figure. My only complaint with this figure is that he came missing a piece in the elbow but I've got a replacement part on the way so it's not even really an issue.

I don't know where all the negative comments about this figure come from. It's amazeballs. That long complaint review was completely ludicrous. (That's a fancy word for bo'shit)

Re: review: Takara Masterpiece MP12 MP 12 Sideswipe Lambor

I just got mine today. I got some sloppy paint in various areas, some scuffed paint, but worst of all, a black finger print on the red paint on part of the door.

I managed to remove the finger print with some fine crocus cloth, but still. Kinda annoying.

I'll be displaying mine in bot mode so all things considered, he's still pretty cool. I even managed to get some extra height out of him by folding his feet into a "V" so he fits in with my Alternators a bit better. The joints at his feet are quite tight so his feet stay in that position pretty well.

Just got my shipping confirmation yesterday, slated for Tuesday delivery. Can't wait, slightly apprehensive due to reports of cosmetic issues and missing elbow parts. Will have to wait and see.

Got mine from Automaton Toys! Beautiful figure minor paint blotch on the spoiler, but otherwise amazing figure! I cannot wait for Red Alert! This figure is awesome.
