Transformers Kingdom Commander Rodimus Prime First Look

Loopaza Mega Store on Facebook has shared pictures of their upcoming products for the month of August. We have our first look at the upcoming Kingdom Commander Class Rodimus. The image shows the front “cab” of the toy and not the rest of the trailer, so there may be more to yet be revealed! For now, we can see this is a pretty beefy version of the Autobot leader and this time around he’s armed with a sword! check out the image after the break and jump in on the discussion on the 2005 Boards

So at least he transforms into something without the trailer. That's a step up over the G1 figure.


I'll still probably skip this due to how expensive Commanders are, but if they redecoed/retooled this front section into another character and released it at a cheaper price point I'd consider it.

Current Galvatron rumors say he looks almost like Fanstoys Sovereign, so this pair will look great on the shelf, if thats true.

I'm a sucker for HotRods, and was as disappointed w/ POTP RP as anyone else

SS86 looks great, and this MFer looks great too
As everyone though, this sumb*tch better have a big trailer/cannon turret playset to justify that damn price tag

Glad to see we are getting the official reveal on March 10th. I'll hold off on any major judgment until then, but I will say I hope the final product has painted hubcaps, otherwise I'll be disappointed for a Commander class figure.

I'd also like to add that I wish they'd gotten more creative with the back end. That part was always covered up in G1, so they could have put anything there, but it looks like they just went with a slightly beefier version of Hot Rod's altmode instead of giving us some rocket boosters or a giant engine or something else to make this figure more unique without the trailer.

Woah there, that's a long shot for Galvatron. Something about this Rodimus (from the promo pic at least) resembles the POTP version. Hoping that it's something completely different (because Leader class evo Rodimus was crap). The pictures pretty low res so it's hard to tell.

I wouldn't go by Japan's pricing. They have been paying more than we do for the whole Seige line.
