Re: Generations Leader Jetfire - Baltmatrix

I'm sure there would be a way to make it work with a Unicron crotch and metal rods.

It would be cool if there would be a way to mount the backpack onto his left arm as some kind of giant dual cannon...
I've never tried that config. very nice!!

I've been putting it on the side of the boosters (they have a hole on each side that I didn't even notice at first), it's not centered but still a lot better than the nose cone.

I don't remember, when you remove the arm guns are the arms hollow behind them?

I think that might be an eye sore for me if they are

Unfortunately as you "try", it seems to me you wish for him to provide another response based on this statement.

Do you think he will read this and accept to be called an "ass"? you are urging the conversation to continue.
If I could put him on ignore I would (can't find a way if there is, I'd be happy if you could let me know how), I just decided to finally create an account on here and everyone has been nice, mature and fun to exchange with except him... but there's always one.

So anyways, as I've stated about his fragility, as others have also stated, the worse part is the center part that connects the "groin to the wings".

So far the best approach that I've found is the use your thumb to push that "clip" part into the groin while aligning the "hips" to make the intakes of the jet, which, if I get it perfect, just snaps in and prevents having too much pressure to simply push the parts.

Another part is the cockpit part, as you fold it on the plane's back, it does a very scary snap, Ive been trying to see where the catch is, possibly could be filed down as it doesn't really serve a purpose as far as I can see, but it's well hidden. Each time I do it, I have someone ask if I've broken it.

Yup, the guns hide the honeycomb of the forearms, but as a jet, they are underneath, so you can't see them.

I've been putting the arm weapons in the wingtips when in plane mode, otherwise, they are in the way of the landing gear (wheels) if they are not perfectly straight.

Re: Generations Leader Jetfire - Baltmatrix

Ahhh yes... thanks for clarifying. I leave him in Bot mode as it doesn't take as much space. I would have loved to have the arm guns stored.

Ahh well guns remain on!

I'm almost debating something...

Hot glue, white, to fill the honeycombs.... I wonder if it would be close enough in colour.

I've done this with another robot at some point and had excellent results. Just have to have the glue hot enough to not leave a small swirl so that it'll be perfectly flush.

I'm thinking that with this type of plastic, removing the glue afterwards should be possible (if you changed your mind) and not be a problem, a screw and a pull, it'll be like an ice tray.

A 3rd party should just create plug-in covers for the arms, thighs and feet and be done with it.
