To play Devil's advocate: the wm price match policy has stated for years that they don't match percent off sales, only actual prices. It's not a new policy. In fact, most price match policies are similar. Depending on your local Walmart staff they may or may not have matches in the past regardless. I've had both cases.
In the case right now, they should match the tr deluxe price. Sometimes you have to patiently explain to them and then finally get a higher up manager. I think most of the staff don't know the intricacies of tf toys and why should they?
I make no excuses for their bonehead stubbornness, of course. I'm not sure why five bucks is the hill they choose to die on, and boy can they be obstinate for no seeming good reason.
