Man, about a dozen years ago when I was into the car modding scene, this used to be my ride: 95 Mazda MX-3 GS. I always used to love how perfect of a spot that piece of body panel was between the side windows and hatch window for a faction symbol....
But 6 years ago, all the money I was throwing at tuning vehicles changed towards buying my current home. That brave little scout got injured with battle damage in the winter of 2010 and by spring of 2012 his transformation cog broke, his spark had burnt out sadly. I had him in storage for the next 3 years after that, hoping to resurrect him, but it just wasn't going to happen and I said goodbye this past November.
Nowadays, the main ride I roll with is an 01 Civic Si and my backup which is mostly for the wife is an 06 Mazda 3 GT, both stock. I still creep the local auto enthusiast boards, but I haven't been to a meet, autocross, or anything like that for about 6 or 7 years now. Growing up sucks. I miss the track, but at least I can still fill my crib with toys.
