Re: Star Trek Into Darkness
This movie looks amazing and JJ should be commended for revitalizing this nearly dead franchise.

Re: Star Trek Into Darkness
My fav Trek films are Undiscovered Country and First Contact. Although Abrahams take has added a new "flavour" to the franchise, I like it, and Into Darkness looks fantastic. I hope it lives up to the trailers.

Re: Star Trek Into Darkness
He knows how to make a movie that many will watch not just a picky trek fan like myself. I love that big ugly ship that's twice the size of the enterprise in the trailer. Looks like more then one ship will be crashing into earth.

Re: Star Trek Into Darkness
Admittedly, I'm a Janeway fan. Grew up in a Trek-watching home, but Voyager was the only series I got to watch on a regular basis.
While Wrath of Kahn will likely always be my favourite Trek movie, I really like the new Trek from Abrams and it honestly has not only brought Star Trek back from the brink, but managed to bring it to a larger audience than before.
That said, anyone else think that Harrison's ship appears to be based of the Excelsior class? And also, why does it have rail guns?
