TFSource hacked, check your credit card statements

Well, I have a pre-order with them, which I will be canceling (due to cheaper price at Automaton). But I did slap my credit card onto the pre-order...

However, I have not been hit yet.

BTW, read the thread at TFW, TFSource made a statement. It's probably not their fault, but who knows. lol

To those who have checked your statements, online or otherwise, that may not be enough.

Most credit card companies only show completed transactions on their online statements, not pending ones. You must call the toll free number on the back of your card, specifically ask to speak to a representative, and have them look for any pending transactions on your account. By the time it's cleared, it may be too late.

I did that. I checked online, and on the phone with a rep. I am still gonna call every day for the next week. >.>

I feel bad for Curt, he's a nice guy and always provides awesome service and this will be pretty devastating since most people are cancelling pre-orders it seems.

I have a pending $1 charge from itunes canada, but I use itunes so who knows

I ordered from them in Dec. So far no charges on my card. Hopefully it stays that way.

This is really too bad. I hope that they giet this issue sorted out and that it doesn't affect their business long term. TFsource represents an important source of competition to other online retailers.

I've done most of my recent preordering on TFSource and bought a few others in December, but nothing's happened with mine and I've made sure there's nothing pending. Makes it worthwhile to work for a major bank.
