I really don't get this hate-on for the handling fee. If you think about it, the item sits in their store taking up space. They have to keep track of what's lying around instead of just sending it off in the mail and not worrying. An employee has to take the time to set the item aside, label it, instead of doing other things like dealing with customers in the store.

With the exchange rate they charged me, I thing I would have paid the same whether preordering or not.

I paid $73 shipped with coin ( dont need the launchers because the ones that are included with the figure are cartoon accurate) from eToys. Should be here in a week or so.

Holy shit you're basically right. With the exchange rate it's $98.13 CAD for the pre-order. Without the pre-order it comes to $100.79 CAD in-store.
Then again, it's basically the same as BBTS.

$75.60 shipped with coin and launcher. Chimungmung. Experimented by preordering several (re: new MPs, i have a couple friends who won't preorder their own but will later want my spare so I often get a couple extra) Chimungmung is a little cheaper than Robot Kingdom and was 1st to arrive.
No duty or tax that I could tell.

$69.99 CAD plus tax at The Toy Trove (collectibles store in St.Catharines).
The owner gave me $10 off since it was Black Friday. Really nice to have the convenience of just walking into a store, and not worrying about shipping or customs.
