Canada's Top Transformer: Nomination Round

A comment in another thread got me wondering this, so let's find out who the top Transformer in Canada is.

If this pans out we'll have a nomination round, followed by a voting round where the top bots will duke it out for robotic supremacy!

For the nit-pickers:
1. Gestalts count as one bot, unless you are nominating individual members.
2. Relector counts as one (even though he is 3).

Let's see how this works. Post up your top 5 for the nomination round. The bots will be seeded based on the order you place them in. Please try to use the following format:

1. Bot 1 (5 points)
2. Bot 2 (4 points)
3. Bot 3 (3 points)
4. Bot 4 (2 points)
5. Bot 5 (1 point)

(Feel free to substitute Bot 1-5 with your favorite character ). Basically, the higher the rank... the more points the bot gets. The more points, the higher the rank, and the more likely your choices will get into the final rounds.

These nominations are open to all generations/series of Transformers, so dig deep if you feel it is warranted. You don't have to give an explanation of your choices (unless you want to), just get your list up.

I'll leave the nominations open until the middle of next week (around the 16th or so). Then the competition will begin.

1. Masterpiece Starscream
I don't even own the figure, but after seeing it up close at TFCon, and not having the $$$ to get him, I have to give it to him. Being my favourite character certainly helps, too.

2. Masterpiece Optimus Prime
The greatest figure of the greatest Autobot. I generally always find that the bad guys were always cooler, but OP was the ultimate good guy. The fight in TF:TM with 'The Touch' playing in the background cements his all time coolness.

3. Superion
The first, and only, transformer that I owned as a child. I loved this one with all my heart.

4. TFA Leader Megatron
Simply the best Megatron figure ever. I actually own this one.

5. Fortress Maximus
Always had a soft spot for FM even though I don't own him. Just something about the character that makes me really want the toy.

I find it hard to separate the characters from the toys myself, so I would combine the two. Essentially it should be toy focused, but if the character made the toy better for you then that is fine. So, don't feel bad nominating Wheelie.

If there are enough nominees, I was going to do a playoff format (Stanley Cup style) where the top seed go up against each other until there is only one.
