Re: Post your hauls
Haul from the last few weeks:
eBay:
- Saint Seiya: Myth Cloth EX - SOG Virgo Shaka
**** Saw it cheapish on ebay and went for it. Think I will go for the SOG, but will do so very slowly. Prices generally seem okayish and are not hard to find. Though for some reason Scorpio is really expensive.
- Saint Seiya: Myth Cloth EX - Effect Parts
- Gundam Seed: Metal Build - Aile Strike Gundam
**** Way way too expensive for such a simple basic figure. I can understand for the Strike Freedom or the gimmicks with the 00 Qan[T], but not the Aile Strike. The only way they got away with it is because Seed is popular and so is the Strike design. This should of be priced and packaged like the Astray Red Frame
Anime Export:
- Saint Seiya: Myth Cloth - Lyra Orpheus
- Gundam 00: Metal Build - GN Sword II Blaster
- Infinity War: S.H.Figuarts - Iron Man Mark 50
Amazon:
- Infinity War Gauntlet and Blu-ray (for scale )
**** Gauntlet essentaily makes just two sounds and gets old real fast. Lights are as you expect.
- Switch Dead Cells and Voez <=== My long weekend

Re: Post your hauls
^Wasn't aware Voez was out already on the Switch. I already own the digital download version, but I'm kinda tempted to buy the physical version too. If you liked Voez, you should check out Lanota which is also on the Switch.
Anyways, went to FanExpo this past weekend, finally got to meet Jason David Frank. Kyle Higgins was there too, so I got them both to sign my Power Rangers Year One Deluxe Edition:
Also picked up SHF Vegito Blue while I was there:
EDIT:
Wasn't expecting there to be mail today, but I did get my hands on Legacy Lord Drakkon and a Time Red vinyl:

Ya, I really enjoyed the demo back in the day and was waiting for a price drop on the eshop then they announced a physical version so I've been waiting for that.
I will check out Lanota. Appreciate the suggestion.
SHF Vegito Blue...... Man.... prices are going to be nuts. *thinking to myself* Should I try and find one before prices go even higher? Or hope someday Bandai Japan releases their own version. Decisions decisions....

Re: Post your hauls
Haven't posted hauls in over a month!
From August 28th:
- PowerA Switch wired controller (Zelda) [ MISB, from Amazon.ca]
Don't care for the controller, but bought it to gut for the PCB.
From September 7th. This stuff arrived while I was out.
- Metal Build Strike Gundam [ MISB, from Anime-Export]
- Cocoroid Kirby (full box) [ MISB, from Anime-Export]
- Nendoroid Robobo Armor & Kirby [ MISB, from Anime-Export]
More Metal Builds!
More Kirbies!
---===---
And my haul from my trip to Tokyo for a week (from September 7th to 13th).
Books:
- Howling Moon vol.1 [from Mandarake Akiba]
- Fire Fire Fire Black Sword vol.1-2 [from Mandarake Akiba]
- Triage-X vol.6-17 [from Mandarake Akiba]
- Maken-ki! vol.10-20 [from Mandarake Akiba]
- Maken-ki! vol.21 with additional alternate slipcover [from Comic Toranoana]
- Hobby Japan October issue [from Comic Toranoana]
Caught up on most of my manga from years ago! Also I'm currently 100% caught up on all of Satou Shouji's non-hentai (ie, not drawn under the INAZUMA pen-name) manga.
Couldn't find the latest volumes of a couple of shorter/smaller and less-popular manga that I used to buy, so I'll have to hunt for those some other way.
And I always make a point to buy the available Hobby Japan and Dengeki Hobby issues for each of my Japan visits; too bad Dengeki Hobby stopped publishing their magazine in July of 2015.
... And yes, I'm the only moron out there who comes back from Japan packing 27 volumes of manga in his suitcase (would've been 32 if I could find everything I was looking for).
Toys:
- Ziku-Driver [ MISB, from Bic Camera]
- Geiz Ride Watch [ MISB, from Bic Camera]
- Build Ride Watch [ MISB, from Bic Camera]
- Candy toy Hibiki Lockseed [ loose]
- Candy toy Den-O Lockseed [ loose]
- Gashapon Kiva Lockseed [ loose]
- Gashapon Decade Lockseed [ loose, all 4 from some store in Akihabara]
- DX Double Lockseed [ Loose, from Mandarake Akiba]
- Zect and Wizard mini-plates [from Kamen Rider The Diner]
- Kamen Rider Kabuto coaster [from Kamen Rider The Diner]
It's awesome having the current-show Driver RIGHT when the show started airing! And the first two Ride Watches! Too bad we couldn't find the Ghost one as well.
And randomly found 5 out of the 6 Lockseeds I still needed! All I need now is the Candy toy or Gashapon Kabuto Lockseed.
And while we weren't supposed to get the plates and coasters from the Kamen Rider the Diner (says so in the menu), the waitress gave them to us when we were leaving. Score!
Gundam/Modelling stuff:
- Gundam Base Limited HG Unicorn Gundam Destroy Mode (Metallic Gloss Injection) [ MISB, from The Gundam Base]
- Gundam Base Limited Action Base 5 (Unicorn Color) [ MISP, from The Gundam Base]
- 2x MSG Weapons 24 (Handgun) [ MISP, from Bic Camera]
- Tamiya Side-Cutters [ MISP, from Bic Camera]
- Gundam Seed Kira Yamato coaster [from Gundam Café Akihabara]
Didn't have room for more kits, but I figured if I was to get a single kit from the Gundam Base, I might as well make it the exclusive one that best represents my visit.
And the Gundam Café in Akihabara is awesome. I'll make sure to hit it up every single time I'm around.
Games:
- Switch car mount [ MISB, from Bic Camera]
- [WiiU game] Zero: Nuregarasu no Miko (Fatal Frame 5) [ MIB, from Mandarake Nakano]
- [PS4 game] Blade Arcus from Shining EX [ MIB, from Traders]
- [NSW game] Rockman X Anniversary Collection 1 [ MISP, from Bic Camera]
- [NSW game] Rockman X Anniversary Collection 2 [ MISP, from Bic Camera]
- [SFC game] Gundam Wing Endless Duel [ MIB, from... I forget the store name. I think it was the one next to BEEP. **EDIT 2018/09/19** it's [Surugaya Akihabara Museum], and it WAS the one next to BEEP. Google Maps to the rescue!]
- [GBA game] Gundam Seed - Tomo to Kimi to Senjou de [ MIB, from Super Potato]
- Sanwa clear joystick bat-top [from BEEP]
Lots of games!
Wanted a physical version to Fatal Frame 5 (already have the North American English digital version).
Blade Arcus was an impulse purchase at ~2000yen; I love fighting games and Tony Taka's art, what could go wrong?
I needed the JP versions to the Megaman X collections, because 1) I wanted a physical copy to Collection 2, which is only available in Japan as the separate release, and 2) I can't stand the English voices and need the JP voices/intros to Megaman X4 and onwards.
Gundam Wing Endless Duel is something I've wanted to actual cart for for a VERY long time. Love this game.
GBA Gundam Seed is a game that I loved a lot too, and it was only a few hundred yen.

Re: Post your hauls
Hmmm.
This apparently also came in while I was away in Tokyo, but my wife didn't check our mailbox for like... a week.
From September 11th:
-[ PS4 game] Spider-Man [ MISP, from Wal-Mart.ca]
I've heard nothing but great things about this game, so I can't wait to start it.

Yeah, I've heard that the game is amazing, sensational even.
All joking aside, I really do wanna get it but I likely won't be able to pick it up till after I get Pokemon Let's Go.

WOWOWOWOWOW! What a haul! You got a lot of books! Who buys books? You do!
Maybe I should check out the new Kamen Rider. I like that it is watch theme and I have always enjoyed wearing a watch and recently got into a bit of watch collecting. I got out mid way in Gaim, not that it's bad and would love to resume it, but time is limited nowadays and something had to give. People talk great things about the Ex Aid show.
Nice, Gundam Wind Endless Duel. I have fond fond memories playing that on the emulator as a kid. I also have the physical copy, but I bought on eBay years ago. Didn't have to go all the way to Japan for that.
Anyways, got a few things and unexpectedly had the day off today because a bird flew into a transformer and the shift was canceled. So here it is:
ebay:
- S.H.Figuarts Normal Goku
- S.H.Figuarts SSB Vegetto
amiami:
- S.H.Figuarts Maijin Buu
amazon:
- PS4 Spider-Man
I also have heard nothing but great things. Looks like the first SM game since Spider-Man 2 that really captures being the webslinger and add a bit of Arkham to it for flavour. Haven't had a chance to open it yet, but maybe today since I have the day off.

For comics and manga, I really much prefer holding the actual physical book than having the content digitally. Then again, I've always been more of a physical copy (of games and movies) than digital (I still don't have a Netflix or Crunchyroll account).

The new show is... alright so far. Has potential to be pretty awesome, but only time will tell (see what I did there?). The annoying thing is that all of the other DX Ridewatches that have been released since my trip to Japan seem to be IMPOSSIBLE to get online (always snatched up quickly, so it's mostly out of stock everywhere).
I can't believe you stopped mid-way through Gaim; if anything, just finish off that series as it was AWESOME. From there, Drive was great; nobody talks about Ghost because it's CRAP; Ex-Aid is pretty good; Build was great; we'll see about Zi-O.

Yeah, I had tried to find a copy off of YAJ a long while back, but lost interest in hunting. Loved the game on my emulators back in the day, and I still pop it on every now and then since I flashed it onto my SNES Classic.

I just started this game this past Friday. I told myself at 11:30pm that I'd just try out the game for an hour or so. Then BAM! My wife's texting me from our bedroom asking me why I'm not in bed at 4:00am.
It really captures Spidey, and NYC, very well.
My haul for today:
-[ NSW game] BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle [ MISP, from Amazon.ca]
Already have the game on PS4, but Amazon dropped the price on the Switch version (from $65 to $40), and I have some ideas for an stick-project.
Oh, and I like the game, so yeah.
The only thing I'm NOT looking forward to is buying the DLC twice. :\
