Re: TF Movieverse cast help.
Kinda hard to answer really with the DOTM line just amping up...I mean..there's probably better versions of certain characters coming up. Leader Ironhide for instance looks pretty solid and may top the voyager in terms of height and transformation accuracy...
If it's no rush I'd play the wait and see game.

Re: TF Movieverse cast help.
Is there a particular size class you want to stay in?

Re: TF Movieverse cast help.
I would wait till DOTMs toys cool down, I mean we might get a SUPER CRAZY AWESOME LEADER IRONHIDE or something in the long run, you can't "cash your chips" just yet.

Re: TF Movieverse cast help.
Hmmm, let's see, well you can't go wrong with Scout Class for Scalpel and Ejector. Deluxe class Jolt is great, the best of the best, Voyager class Blackout and Deluxe class Scorponok are just simply perfect, Legends class Ravage is really cool, but I think the Deluxe class is a bit more fun, even if you never transform him into what they laughingly call an alternate mode.
And who can forget, Supreme class Constructicon Devastator, the best of the best for Devastator. Yep.
In all seriousness though, I'd say it should be entirely up to you really, if you have the opportunity check out other fans different versions and size classes of the characters, TF them once or twice then see which one fits your personal preferences. Everyone seems to have different opinions of the BEST representation of a character from the movieverse.
I for one legitimately feel that... Wait, you know what I don't really have an opinion on anything, I mean sure I like certain size classes and stuff, but I don't think the Best Representation of any given Movie Character has yet to grace my collection. Although I am starting to sour a bit on Deluxe Class Soundwave, mostly because his joints are getting so loose, I've gotta tighten them somehow... SIGH.
Anyway dude, don't let us dictate the best represenation to you, make that decision on your own after carefully weighing the figures in hand, if possible. Ultimately the only one that can tell you what you should have in your collection is, well, you.

Re: TF Movieverse cast help.
Well i seen a the new voyaguer ironhide and i'm thinking of getting him, to replace teh 1st movies verison (so much black plastic)
Thou i have heard teh leader Ironhide is HA scaled
Liek i sais teh HA are defenatly in for BBee, skid, mudflap barracde, jazz, and sideswipe (which i already have.)
I have teh deluxe Ravage, Jolt, I liek them, Jolt needs a HA thou.
As for devestator, I have teh miniverison which is good enough for me as i don't think the supreme one has all teh transformations (just vehicle and devy himself)
I think Buster prime is a good bet for Optimus thou i am interged with teh new one.
I'll get teh new megs, as well as his other verison, (jerk, making me buy 3 of you)
There so many choices for rachette i have no idea where to start.
And I have ejector! Fav movie scout out there. (Baron Ransack Von Funjoy is a close second)

Re: TF Movieverse cast help.
For me I'm getting the DOTM versions of Jolt and Soundwave for sure, didn't like the ROTF vesions. Same for the twins. Sideswipe I might get, if the DOTM version from Tak/To is painted silver I'll get that. For Megatron, unless or until we get a DOTM leader the movie 1 premium leader Megs is what I use.

My brother asked me that yesterday.
I may get one of each verison, falling for that evil hasbro ploy again.
also decided that since we maybe getting DOTM deluxe seekers (TC for sure) i'll be picking those up aswell. same damn ploy as megatron but 3 different charators vs 3 different modes
