TFCON dealer room question ?

When I went to the last convention (80's Toy Expo) in Mississauga they had the dealer room split up in to 3-4 different rooms. Anyone know if TFCON is going to be done the same way or is it going to to be in the 1 larger conference room like it usually is ?

IIRC there was some type of booking error with the last show, hence it being split. I doubt very highly it will happen again and be the same setup as previous TF Cons

Ya, that 80's show was horrible for getting around. I felt so bad for some people who needed space to move around.

I give Mad props to the organizers of the 80's show for making the best out of a bad situation, they did a great job after that huge mix up.

I was a dealer at the 80s expo and it was a nightmare but yet ran quite smooth from my perspective. I asked the organizers before I left if TFcon would be the same and they assured me that situation won't happen again and that TFcon, as well as the shows that follow, will be like they usually are and in the big room with the hallway outside.

I heard the reason 80's Toy Expo's dealer room was split was because of the change over of the hotel from Delta to Hilton. I'm guessing Delta didn't tell Hilton about the convention until it was too late or something.

there was a double booking of the main hall and the hotel decided to give the main hall to that creepy dance competition as they needed the room for dancing and creepy old dudes. They gave the 80's expo the 2 other rooms instead. I was in the panel room for my table, it was hot but I had a pretty good day money wise. Everything ran really smoothly and the only complaints I heard was that the room was really warm and that the whole dance competition was flooded with creepy old pervs taking pics of the young contestants, it was really creepy.

I personally thought that 80's expo was well done and even if TFCON was forced into similar situation I would still very much enjoy it and this year I am going both day yay !

Ya it was a one time deal to have the room spilt. Everything will be back to normal moving forward.
